Kyeema Seafoods specialises in fresh Tasmanian seafood. We supply all the most common types including crayfish, scallops, blue eye trevalla, flathead, oysters and mussels. Our staff love their seafood and can tell you everything you need to know - from where it was caught and how, to a great recipe and tips for preparing it.
Many studies have shown the benefits of eating one to four serves of fish a week. Even a small serve, such as sushi or a seafood pie is of more benefit than none at all. The Tasmanian scallop season is now open (June 2009) and should remain open until December. We will have fresh scallops available every day as long as the season remains open. We have a variety of ready made sauces to go with scallops and have also introduced 'curried scallop' and 'scallop mornay' pies.
